Description
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Software Development Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend development with hands-on experience in database management, Python programming, and containerization technologies. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable applications using modern frameworks and tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python frameworks like Django, Flask, and FastAPI.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Manage and optimize databases, particularly with Postgres and Redis, ensuring data integrity and high availability.
- Utilize Docker for containerization and manage deployment pipelines to ensure smooth CI/CD processes.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following best practices in software development.
- Conduct code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to maintain code quality.
- Work with version control systems like Git to manage codebase and collaborate with team members.
- Optimize application performance, scale systems, and manage cloud infrastructure.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Python programming and experience with frameworks such as Django, Flask, and FastAPI.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases, particularly Postgres.
- Experience with NoSQL databases like Redis.
- Expertise in Docker and container orchestration for application deployment.
- Familiarity with Git for version control and collaborative development.
- Experience with RESTful API design and implementation.
- Solid understanding of software development best practices and agile methodologies.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and experience with related frameworks.
