Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Software Development Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend development with hands-on experience in database management, Python programming, and containerization technologies. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable applications using modern frameworks and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python frameworks like Django, Flask, and FastAPI.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Manage and optimize databases, particularly with Postgres and Redis, ensuring data integrity and high availability.
  • Utilize Docker for containerization and manage deployment pipelines to ensure smooth CI/CD processes.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following best practices in software development.
  • Conduct code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to maintain code quality.
  • Work with version control systems like Git to manage codebase and collaborate with team members.
  • Optimize application performance, scale systems, and manage cloud infrastructure.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in Python programming and experience with frameworks such as Django, Flask, and FastAPI.
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases, particularly Postgres.
  • Experience with NoSQL databases like Redis.
  • Expertise in Docker and container orchestration for application deployment.
  • Familiarity with Git for version control and collaborative development.
  • Experience with RESTful API design and implementation.
  • Solid understanding of software development best practices and agile methodologies.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture and experience with related frameworks.
